All documents and personal information are handled confidentially. Only information required by Arizona law is recorded in the notary journal. No documents are retained, copied, or stored unless explicitly required for a contracted service.
Remote Online Notarization (RON) is performed in accordance with A.R.S. § 41‑371 through § 41‑380. Each RON act is limited to a $10 statutory fee.
Travel fees are non‑refundable once the notary is en route. Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the appointment incur no charge. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment may incur a partial travel fee. If the notary arrives and the appointment cannot be completed due to client error (no ID, incomplete documents, signer unavailable), the full travel fee is due.
Statutory notary fees are only charged when a notarization is successfully completed. Travel fees are non‑refundable once travel has begun. If the notary must cancel due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, all prepaid fees are refunded in full.
Clients are responsible for providing witnesses unless prior arrangements are made. Witnesses must:
Be 18 or older
Not be named in the document
Not be related to the signer, If witness coordination is requested, a $25 per witness fee applies.
Hospital, rehab, assisted living, and correctional facility notarizations require special considerations.
The signer must be:
Alert and aware
Able to communicate willingness
Able to present valid IDIf the signer is medicated, sedated, or unable to communicate clearly, the notary must decline the notarization.
Wait time fees may apply for facilities with security or medical delays.
A client is considered a no‑show if the signer is not present within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time.
In a no‑show situation:
The full travel fee is due
A second trip requires a new appointment and travel fee
Documents must be complete, printed, and ready for signing.
The notary cannot notarize:
Blank documents
Documents with missing pages
Documents requiring legal interpretation
